After replacing the material, if the coral is healthy, switch the reactor flow to continuous flow

Jacky, question for ya, do you think my refugium is playing part in the algue I have on my display glass?. I have a 60 gallon refugium that runs opposite light schedule from my main display? to high with my PH. I have cheato and caulerpara growingin it, should I keep it or get rid of it? I also have about 50lbs of rock in their.

Thanks

I can't tell you it's not good, the Zeo system it "is not a required setting".

Usually Zeo Foundation 4 reduces nutrients in a balanced way, I think it's enough

The picture shows some brown algae and bad bacteria

If the coral is in good condition, switch the reactor to continuous flow, clean it with a cleaning brush, then see if the things on the glass are getting better, and the giant elements remain at the recommended levels, including potassium.

If it is me, I will "smoke it" in the area of "this facility" to do a little cleaning, and Zeo CoralSnow+Zeo Bac added

I don't think of it as maintaining PH or reducing nutrients. I will treat it as an extra culture of plankton and plenty of food. (But there is no such need, the Zeo system architecture is really enough)

In any case, switch the reactor first

Well I did a 10% water change tonight Im going to run test tomorrow, but your not going to be leave what I found. I just noticed that my out put on then reactor was looking very slow. So I measured it and somehow it was only putting out 45 gallons and hour, not the 140 I need. So I fixed that and now its running at 140 perfect. Im going to leave it on flow continuous. Ill test everything tomorrow after work. Thanks for your help.

Sorry it took so long for this post. Here are my test numbers.

Salinity 1.025
DKH went up now 10.4 from 10.2
Po4 went up now .44 from .33
Cal is 429
Mag is 1300

I changed my ZEOVIT rock out last on 11-1-19. I havent missed everything I dose everything on time. I still have a bunch of brown algae on the front glass every 2 days. Nothing is dead in my tank. I feed once a day before bed LRS Fish Frenzy. Corals look healthy everything is open. What do you guys think. Im wondering if my water volume is higher then 140.

LRS Fish Frenzy I have no experience with products, and due to rising nutrition, it is good to stop supplying these nutritional supplements altogether. Yes, the reactor flow rate is 140 US gallons per hour. The kh is very high, and the automatic supply of pump (kh) is stopped, and it is maintained at the 6.5 ~ 7.5 level. Why are phosphate levels rising? What do you think. What is the dosage / frequency of Zeo's base products? What are all the "additives"?

Do corals grow? kh Ca Mg Are they consumed? If salinity is correct, does the higher macroelement level display come from supplementation? (It feels that the elements are not consumed too much, 1. high nutrients 2. lighting)

Default New Guy Here.

LRS Fish Frenzy is a high quality fish food in the USA. are you saying to turn off my dosing of ALK/ CAL ? I dont dose anything but Zeo products.

Mon, Wed, Fri I dose 1 ml of Zeobac
7 days a week morning and evening I dose .50ml of ZeoStart
I use ZEO carbon. I do a weekly water change of 10%. Im on my second month of ZEOVIT.

Before I started ZEOVIT. I had really good growth in my corals, but I had algae on the front glass. But now nothing is growing at all.

Thats all I dose.

Thanks
Mark

What is the nitrate level?

If the test level of kh is correct, then it is good to turn off the addition of dkh temporarily, use a small container to collect the reactor outlet for 30 seconds, the volume is x120, and get an hourly flow. The reactor was 140 US gallons per hour.

Zeo Bac 5 “drops“ 2-3 times a week
Zeo Start 0.5ml x2, every morning and night
5 drops of Zeo Sponge Power every other day
Optional-BioMate. 10 drops every other day
Optional Zeo Coral Snow 10ml, 2 times per week

Adjust the skimmer wet, clean the collection cup to make it more nutritious, change the water every week, and vacuum the sand

The algae / bacterial film on the glass should be normal, use a magnet brush.

High nutritional level, completely stop nutrient addition. Unfamiliar with the lighting part, if you can balance the spectral lighting better

kh 6.5~7.5
Ca 400~420
Mg 1250~1300
K+ 380~400

Im sorry I do add Zeo sponge already EOD.

my lighting is 4 T-5s the bulbs are 2 months old. I also run 3 kessil a360x at 35% max at noon time.

My flow rate is 140. I ran it for 30 then X 120 . I had 140 gallons an hour.

When should change out my Zeolite again? This will be my 3rd time.

Thanks
Mark
