I had to stop dosing anything extra. My orange passion, of all my frags, rtn’d a few days ago. One of my tables rtn as well a few days later. It turns out my heater appeared to be on but it wasn’t making any heat. Unfortunately I’ve had a few power outages lately which have made my Apex lose internet and I’ve been too busy to trouble shoot it. Got the spare heater in the tank. Hopefully I won’t have any more losses.

If the coral Rtn, reducing the reactor flow by half should be good

Thanks but in dont even use a reactor. Most likely caused by broken heater.

I am also very sorry to hear this news. Is the appearance of the heater broken?

If I understand it is right, then I might try to change the water in a balanced way, adding CoralSnow, I don't know if CoralSnow can effectively take away the "substance", but I will try to do so.

Since the heater has many models, maybe it may not help things (Zeo CoralSnow)

The extra idea is that the material of the heater is not clear, I don't know what to leaching, maybe iron, maybe... If the metal is leached, it may cause a rapid decrease in phosphate and a coral TN. (then it should be that all corals are affected by disaster)

a little thought

It was a glass eheim heater with only the glass part in the tank. Im sure it was just swings in temperature. Temp dipped down from 80 to 72 in less than 12 hours. New heater has temp stable again and other corals looking fine.
