Can you tell me in ml how much you want me to dose daily? Sorry for all the confusion.
I was referring to the K-Balance Standard dosage you have already started with 2 ml. As this has increased the K+ level of your system from 290 to 340 mg which might be to quick if it is not a measuring issue. I would recommend to reduce the dosage to 1 ml once per day until the level of your system is ~ 380 mg.

Man I cant believe I missed that. Got it. So I will dose half the recomended amount to bring my potassium level up to the 380 mg range. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Did a 10% water change today and tested for potassium. I have been adding 1 ml of standard k-balance a day. It tested today at 350mg. I think the very first test at 290 mg had to be incorrect. At 1 ml a day it has only increased 10 mg in 5 days if the second test is the correct reading and not the first. I don't see any way k-balance can increase 100 gallons 50 mg in 1 day with a 2ml half dose when 1 ml over 5 days has only increased it 10 mg.

I don't know how much it is per ml.

I always do it in the simplest way

At the lowest dose of 1 ml, the daily fixed time measurement, x 2 ~ 3 days. If the element level is maintained, the daily dose is changed to x2, morning and evening.

Make sure that the data is correct every time, the same similar method increases and decreases frequency and dose

At present, potassium, I divide it into 4 times a day, every 6 hours. Fixed frequency, increase and decrease, adjust from ml

This is my way

Today I dosed 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml in the evening. I will check the potassium tomorrow and see how much it raised it from 350 mg.

360 mg today. It looks like 2 ml is about 10 mg a day. Should I prepare to start zeovit by this weekend?

Sounds good lets increase to to 380 mg within the next couple of days but basically I would not see a problem to start using ZeoVit now.

I fired up the zeovit reactor yesterday. I dosed the essentials in the amounts you specified. I will test the water this weekend and post results. I have noticed a reddish brown algae forming on the sand bed already. I am still dosing the k-balance a 1ml in the morning and 1 ml in the evening. Should be around 390/400 by saturday.

My potassium tested at 400 mg today. Do I reduce the dosage now?

My alk was 8.2 and Calcium was 440. Right now I have no kalk stirrer running and I am not 2 part dosing either. All sps in the tank are just frag size so probably not consuming much. I do have torches and a frogspawn.

Going to do a water change today. How long do I run the Zeovit reactor at 3hr off/on intervals before I can run it full time?

I still have brown algae on the sand bed and on a few corals.

Any other additives that you want me to add at this time? I stopped the acropower before starting the zeovit.

Do not adjust the dose for the time being, and keep it stable, as long as it does not rise too much, focus on potassium levels and maintain 380 ~ 400 mg (optimal)

Let's complete this system conversion, keep 3hr on / 3hr off, the first time ZeoVit material is kept in the first 4 weeks. After that, 90% of ZeoVit materials were replaced for the first time, and 10% of the old materials were retained. After each material replacement, Zeo Bac x 10 days. After 2 weeks, if the corals are healthy, switch the reactor flow to continuous flow

I don’t know their appearance, maybe it ’s a normal sign, when you change the water, evacuate the sand

At the current stage, only Zeo basic products are needed to reduce nutrition. The bacterial system requires some time and completes system conversion.

After the water change the brown algae has come back. It took a couple of days but it is back and it is on rocks, sand, glass, and corals.

Can brown algae have a chance to get a clear picture of it?

Ro / di water, did you use resin material as the last channel of the filter? (Clarify the portion of source water is good)

RODI source is great. I have the brs rodi 6 stage. Tds 0. My fault. I should have stated that above because I knew that was going to be the first thing asked.

Now today the brown algae is almost totally gone. I didn’t change or do anything different.
