I can also not see any issue with your dosing regimen, lets see if the iodine and the corals food has anything to do with it.

Finally getting a handle on cyano, not totally gone but 90% gone. Lost a couple of acro frags and have some damaged plates but I think Im turning the corner.
My calcium levels have dropped through the process of dosing cyano clean and zeozym so thats not helping.
Alk remains at 7.3 ph is 8 but cant seem to raise cal over 350. I am adding the max recommended (80ml) of Calcion-P from brightwell daily but still cant get it over 350 (it was at 300 2 weeks ago). MG is still at 1400.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

I'm very happy that you control the phenomenon of Cyanos, which is good news.

First, you must confirm whether the salinity is correct. If the salinity is correct, then look into the following directions

Maybe there is a problem with the test package, or using a new test package or another brand, cross-testing.

New mixed salt (under the same salinity / temperature), test individual elements of mixed salt, cross-comparison.

The pH is 7.3, which sounds unusual. Maybe the sensor pollution problem, or try to correct it. (You can also cross test in fresh mixed brine)

My understanding is that if Mg is seriously insufficient, it may affect the increase of Ca and Kh.

Does the new salt mixture dissolve and the water looks clear?

Has calcium precipitated and is the calcium carbonate phenomenon on the motor shaft?

I have no experience with this Ca product. Maybe it is a low-dose interval, instead of adding Ca at a time, and separate from other elements, this may be good. (Because I don't understand your technique, maybe you have noticed this)

2 test kits, identical results for calcium. I check salinity with 2 refractometers just in case.
Ph 8, KH is 7.3.
I mix salt 12 hours before water change.
Is mg at 1400 insufficient?
No cal participant.
I will test new water before next water change
Thanks

Usually the Mg of freshly mixed salt will not be 1400 unless you add additional Mg elements. For personal taste, ZeoVit system, Mg 1250 ~ 1300.

Usually fresh mixed salt water is used immediately after the water is clear. I won't leave it for a long time. Mixed salt from different brands does have a chance to precipitate elements.

Test new water before fresh water change (after fresh and after 12hr), cross check is good

What is the Ca test kit brand?

My mg results are from tank not fresh mixed. I just did a water change Friday.
12 hours is recommended Neo Marine salt.
My ca tests are salifert and Red Sea pro

They were growing before all this cyano. I stopped feeding them, 2 months now.

Looks good. This is a good phenomenon. Corals grow and elements are consumed.
