Good luck for your new project, would recommend you to use 0.75 liters ZeoVit with a constant water flow of 300 liters per hour through the reactor.

Adding additional live rock as Jacky has mention is something I would recommend also. Personally I would replace the MarinePureBlock with fresh good quality live rock.

If you just use dry rock, thy cycle will also take much more time so you will need some patience before you can add additional animals or SPS corals.

Added live-rock about 8kg in the sump.
Marinepure will pooled out when change zeolite.

Zeo-reactor flow was changed 288liter per a hour.

I don't have a bad meaning. Everyone likes different

My definition of fresh high quality live rock - some natural marine algae on the cornerstone, smells fresh like the ocean, red algae on the cornerstone. Sometimes there are biological animals. Compared with the same volume, the weight is particularly light (more pores),The appearance looks micro-rich, and the overall looks special and energetic

Let me provide a small point, but this is not the main reason for using live rock completely.
Sponge power
Intended use: increase sponge growth
Positive results: enhance coral growth, increase tissue, increase sponge growth

"Source" seems to be very important

There is a small change in the tank. Green algae spread widely.

Operation changed as follows. Please let me know if there is something wrong.

Salinity 35ppt, Alkalinity 156, Temp 25.0
Zeoreactor flow 288liter per hour.
The socks filter is replaced every day and the skimming is running dry.

D+10
150 ml of the activated carbon was placed in the sump tank while watching the polyp state of the Montipora. Would be changed every two week.

D+16
Changed dosing as follows.
Bak 3d * 2/week,
Start3 0.3ml * 2/day,
Spone 3d * 2/week
Green algae has disappeared, so I added easy corals like the Montipora and the stylopora.

Hello. Alexander.

My reef tank has passed 40 days.
I attach the present appearance.

It has been a week ~ a month since the coral was introduced, and the condition of the polyp is good and generally looks healthy.

After a month, I'm carrying out water changes every week.

Problem.
Phosphate levels are measured at 0 ppm in a hanna tester for a week and fed fish. As a result, there is a phenomenon that the phosphate level is fluctuating from 0.05 to 0.4 ppm.

Please let me know what action I should take.

Water parameter
- KH 7.2dKH
- Potassium 380ml/L
- Phosphate 0.05 ~ 0.4
- pH 7.8 ~ 8.1
* Two part dosing(KH, Calcium) & Water change weekly

Dosing
- Zeobak (The zeolite was replaced on the 30th day and zeobak was added daily until today.)
- Start3 0.3ml * 2 / daily
- Spongepower 3d / 3 days
* I have most additives related to zeovit.

Added corals
See attached image.

Rock status
See attached image.

The Hannah tester measures the phosphate level at 0 ppm for one week and feeds the fish. As a result, there is a phenomenon in which the phosphate level fluctuates from 0.05 to 0.4 ppm.

(This is indeed a huge change in the peak. Will dry rock be a problem? Is the quality of Ro water good?)

The dose looks good, there should be no problem.

In addition to the addition of the base product, have you added additional nutritional supplements?

Is tank currently having algae problems?

Zeobak (zeolite was replaced on day 30 and zeobak was added daily to today.) If the coral is healthy, switch continuous flow in about 2 weeks. After switching the continuous flow, observe the change in the appearance of the coral, while the phosphorus should be slowly reduced, but I am not sure how much it can be lowered.

With switching to continuous flow, low malnutrition water quality, while paying attention to potassium levels

The tank is still young and uses dry rocks, which may take a while

If you have Zeo BioMate then this might help

I am sure this is a measuring error. Make sure to clean the curvet for the water sample very well, fingerprints etc. does have a big impact to the result. The glass should be really clean.

Hello, Alexander.

It has been 75 days since the start of the season 2 zeovit tank. The zeolite was replaced a second time.
Please check my doings. And next, let me know what I need to do.

I operate with three parts dosing using calcium, buffer, and mineral salt. The activity of the polyp is good, and the runner is running along the coral base. Alkalinity consumption is about 0.4dKH per day. The growth of MontiPora and the increase in consumption of Alkalinity started food dosing two weeks ago.

The tang and the snails eaten the algae eagerly, but the rock is too clean. Every week I wipe the algae on the floor. Sump rock has a lot of jar shaped sponge.

Conductivity 53mV(35ppt)
dKH 7.0~7.2
Temp 25.5 ~ 26.5
pH 7.8 ~ 8.1

Bak 3d * 3/Week
Start3 0.3ml * 2/Day
SP 3d * 3/Week
ICC 3d * 2/Week
IC 3d * 2/Week
PCS 3ml * 1/Week
ZZ 1/4 tsp * 1/Week
BM 3d * 1/Week
AA 1d * 3/Week
CV 3d * 3/Week
Strontium * 3/Week

I attached the picture.

Can you please update the actual PO4 and NO3 level ?

Also you have mention that you use mineral salt additional, this kind of salt does often contain a lot of trace elements so if you have the feeling that your corals tissue is to dark even if nutrients are stabile low already it might have something to do with the salt.
