Default Trying to control phosphates and coral injuries

I am following some guidance from another zeovit user after explaining about having really high phosphates and STN with some possible bleeching. I am recently recovering from a large turf algae problem that has grown over the last year. His recomendations for treating high phosphates was

No more dosing amino acids or zeofood
zeoback 3/wk
coral snow plus 5 ml 2/wk
15g h20 changes weekly

I also have some zeozyme, would this aid in the problem if I did weekly doses?

It's only been a week and I dropped my p04 down to 0.2 up from 1.0 but now it is starting to creep up, 0.3 tonight and my corals are starting to shrink up.
I have also started using a c02 scrubber mainatining a ph between 8.1-8.33. I was hoping it would decrease stress as it was closer to normal ocean pH.

I did use some phosphate rx last week and my corals seemed to do well with it.
With the phosphate creeping up again I dosed phosphate rx at half dose to prevent the po4 from bottoming out.

Am I going in the right direction? I am worried as my hammer and frogspaen colonies is showing STN still, while another coral (I have no idea what it other than a plate/encrusting LPS) is also have STN or bleeching (not sure), I am having brown algae growing where the tissue had died off as well as decreased polyp extension. I did move the coral to a lower light as I thought the light may have contributed to the problem but it has not changed anything.
They do not seem to be getting any better but the die off seems to have stopped or at least slowed down a little bit. I will continue to take pictures so I can compare them and show you guys.

Thank you for your information. The reason for TN can be caused by many factors. It can also be roughly discriminated by different parts of the coral. It can also be caused by the incorrect use of inorganic substances. It can also be caused by the imbalance of elements and nutrition. It can happen with rapid reduction. It can also be artificially caused by corals. It may also be caused by bacterial infections that cause TN.

I don't have a good idea at the moment, I can only do the scrutiny from the signs you describe.
15 grams of h20 change per week, ( I don't use this method and no experience )

I also have some zeozymes. If I take one dose a week, does this help solve this problem? ( It can help improve biological function against mucoal algae and cyanobacteria )

It was only a week, I dropped my p04 from 1.0 to 0.2, but now it starts to climb, 0.3 tonight, my coral begins to shrink, (the speed of change is too fast, it is possible to cause coral pressure, phosphorus again It’s unusual to rise again, and you may need to explore why.)

I did use some phosphate rx last week and my coral seems to work very well.
As the phosphate rises again, I give phosphate rx in half dose to prevent po4 from bottoming out. (The same reply in the previous line, the dose is not correct, etc., perhaps with a more sophisticated PO4 instrument you can know how much it is reduced)

As long as the PH value does not deviate from the normal level, it is usually not a problem.

I have brown algae growing where the tissue has died and the polyp extension is reduced. (The water quality seems to be highly nutritious. I don't know exactly where this comes from.)

It may be due to nutrient control or improper use of extra objects, resulting in coral loss leading to tissue loss,That is to say, the coral is not affected by certain environmental factors or factors.

I would suggest confirming that Ro water Tds=0 is of good quality. Salt and water try to slowly refresh the water in a balanced manner. When doing so, please confirm the difference between salinity and temperature on both sides, and vacuum the siphon sand to clean (if there is sand), skimmer adjusts the wet, and replaces the filter socks more frequently.

Get Zeo Coral Snow which can be used in any system without problems

I am sorry that I have not helped too much, G. can provide us with better help.

Can you tell us if you use the ZeoVit material ? If so please post how much of the material you have running in the reactor and what exactly the flow is (measured).

Do you also dose ZeoStart ?

Please also measure the reactor flow by collecting the water from the reactor outlet for 30 seconds with a small container. Multiply its volume by 120 and you will get the output per hour.

Which kind of carbon do you use and how much, do you use it in a reactor ?
