Was going to try putting a sample in peroxide to rule out Spirulina.

Just finished testing the water this morning. Phosphates had been 0 since the start up through yesterday. This morning phosphates are 0.021 and nitrates are now 5. Nutrients are rising, although still in good range from the start.

Thought I would post some pics after starting 1 week on Zeovit. I did clean the cyno as best I could and started dosing CS with CB and seems like the cyno is slow to come back.

Hello Rsafron, what is the dose/frequency of ZS3. If it is me and the picture shows, I may not add CB, nutrition supplement may be better in low malnutrition stable water quality.

In addition, the rightmost picture, have you checked the appropriate level of potassium, K+~ is usually 380, and the coral is dark brown (like too many trace elements or nutrient accumulation)

Zeostart is 0.4 x 2 per day. Zeobak is 4 drops per day for 1 week now. Nitrate is 5 and phosphate this morning is 0.01. Still have to clean algae off my glass every day or so.

So is it now in the stage of performing 3 open 3 levels? How long has it been?

Also, K is close to 400. Are you suggesting a change or continue current dosing?

About 2 weeks after the first ZeoVit exchange, if all the corals are performing well, you can switch the reactor to continuous flow.

Keep K+~380-400 mg

Try Zeo Coral Snow 8ml every day if you like.

Siphon vacuum sand to clean it

Lets continue dosing as follows:

ZeoStart 0.4 ml 2 x daily
Mixture of 8 ml CoralSnow and 4 drops Zeobac daily

Switch off your skimmer for about 2 hours after dosing the mixture of CoralSnow and Zeobac.

Please also vacuum the cyano out every time you do a water change.

Thanks G.Alexander and jacky. Should I still add spong power, should arrive today as my order got messed up. Also, suppose to drop down ZB dosage next Wed, should I keep dosing every day with ZS or go to twice a week then?

If my order is messed up, should I add functionality today? (Sorry, I don't know much)

Usually the general situation can be Zeo Bac 2~3 times a week.

Cyano is another problem, still maintaining the ZS3 dose (this will not increase the problem of cyano, the reduction will affect the entire tank biology)

Do as G.Alexander said (mix the two), and Siphon vacuum sand to clean it
Until Cyano disappears, if the Cyano problem is resolved, you can do it again, one week of prevention (2 times a week, CoralSnow+Bac)

Also ensure that the Ro/di water quality is good, and change the water, and reduce all the additions of feeding and nutrients. The current nutrient addition only makes Cyacn strong. For the current situation, this is not "essential".

If the NP level is correct, this is really not a very serious problem. It is recommended to use the basic knowledge of Zeo and the use of CoralSnow, change the water, vacuum, change the filter socks every other day, and Skimmer wet. Any remaining nutritional supplements are not required

Let corals get better water quality, corals will definitely become more comfortable

Cyano does not necessarily have high phosphorus, it is difficult to describe it

Let's do this, we will definitely see the more beautiful side of the coral.

Thanks again for the help. I am only dosing 4 drops of ZB now added to 8 Mls of Coral Snow for 3 days. And .8 mls total of Zstart. Nothing else is being dosed since starting 10 days ago. My RO water is very good and checked by ICP test every quarter. Cyno is a bit worse today. This afternoon my Nitrate is 5 and Phosphate is .03. Prior to starting Zeovit my nitrate was always 2.5 and phosphates mostly 0 but never more than 0.01. I will just keep following advice above unless hear differently.

Don't worry, give the Zeo system time, about 2 weeks after the first ZeoVit exchange, if all the corals are performing well, you can switch the reactor to continuous flow. Keep the current Zeo basics added

Zeo Basics - Zeo Bac, Start3, Sponge Power, ZeoVit, Zeo Activated Carbon(Get these products)

Indeed the current dosing plan, may be adjusted later

Let us complete the above methods of administration.
