Hello ,
I need some help to zeo.
My tank is 800 liter clear water I start it before 9 years and before 3 months I
jump to zeovit . Now I have a cyano problem .
My routine :
Water change every 10 days 10%.
2 l zeovit in zeoreactor.
Day after day 8 drops zeo bac
Every day 0,8 ml x 2
zeofood the same with zeobac .
Carbon 200ml change every 10 days in high flow .

Cyano problem, you can try CoralSnow and Zeo Bac mixed, 2:1, which is CoralSnow16ml mixed Bac 8 drops, every day

At the same time, do more output, siphon, Skimmer

And reduce feeding and reduce the addition of any nutrients, as a support

If you add iodine, then stop it temporarily, this should be good

In addition, some bad activated carbon leaching phosphorus problems, it should be good to rule out this

I don't know what the NP level is?
What is the hourly flow rate of the ZeoVit reactor?
Use sand? Sand depth?
The number of animals (fish)?
Feeding a lot?

If you can, fill out the basic message of Tank and this should be fine.

Please tell us something more about your system:

If possible please also post a picture of your tank and the sump.

After a lot of experimenting with biopellet, bare bottom, etc and after all these I started 2 months ago with zeovit. I do not expect in 2 months for good results, I am patient but I do need help and advice.
So am I currently doing anything wrong, should I change something?

What is the blue sponge in the trickle filter tank? Does it leach nutrients?

Thank you for the additional details and pictures. From the pictures it looks like just the sand is affected by cyanos and other kind of film ?

Which kind of sand have you used ?

First of all thanks you ( jacky and G.Alexander ) for your help !!!
Jacky the blue sponge I put it there for particulate matter and I clean it every 5 , 6 days .
G.Alexander yes it is cyano . The sand is ATI sugar size with ATI medium.

Thank you, just wanted to be sure it is no live sand. I would first recommend to treat the sand by vacuum the sand regular at each water change and dosing a mixture of 16 ml CoralSnow + 8 drops ZeoBac daily for one week after you first have vacuum the sand. While dosing this no separate ZeoBac dosage is necessary. Please also check the quality of your RO water, TDS reading should be ZERO. While the treatment also stop dosing ZeoFood.

If this does not help CyanoClean or A-Balance are some additional choices.

I would also suggest to remove the blue sponge and the green hoses, both can leach any kind of substances. Replace the hose with a silicon hose and the sponge with a filter bag.

What is your actual PO4 and NO3 level... po4 = 0.03 no3 = 16

Not sure about its source, as G. said, check if the quality of Ro/di is good, remove the blue sponge, replace the green hose with a silicone hose, replace the water and maximize the siphon as much as possible, CoralSnow+Bac ( 2:1), adjust the Skimmer wet,and refresh/balance elements by extra water replacement

Use a single container to collect the reactor outlet water flow for 30 seconds, volume x120, for hourly output

If the amount of water is 800L
A 225-gallon system should fill a 1/2-gallon pitcher in 8 seconds. (16 seconds per gallon. 3600 / 16 = 225 gallons gallon)

Zeo basic product, change Food7 to Sponge Power, 8 drops per day

Food7 can be added after the low malnutrition water quality

I have seen from your dosing plan, as shown in the picture, that the phosphate level may not be 0.03, it may be that I am wrong, just think that you can confirm the correct level of PO4 again.

What kind of phosphate test kit do you use?

22. Other water parameters and water stability (salt, temperature, etc.) 1025, 29C
(Also, the water temperature of 29 degrees C may be slightly too high, although this is not a serious problem at present, if possible, this part should try to optimize it)

Aptesia problem, you can try to add some functional animals like pictures

However, there may be a factor that may eat corals and cause coral damage. You can consider whether to add those functional animals, or try to use commercially available products. I don't have these experiences, just some basic ideas.

I have removed the blue sponge for now and i will replace it with non-woven roller in the near future. The green hose is EHEIM so should i replace it with silicone? PO4 are measured with hanna checker. The sand is partially siphoned on every water change (every ten day). I am trying to combat the aptesia with copperband but it is quite difficult with 3 tangs.

I don't have any experience in actually using copper, but I think aptesia is generally less resistant to copper than corals, and aptesia seems to exist.

The green hose is EHEIM. I don't have any experience with it. It gives me the idea that it is used in freshwater farming. I don't know what its material is. I don't know if it can be used for seawater tank. If you are not sure about the material, Then at least replace it with a certain material (silicone)

Try to check Ro/di, whether Tds is 0, which is also very important, Do you use Ro/di water that passes through the channel and the back end through the resin?
