Are you sure you followed the direction to the dino x. Your not asspose to use the zeovit while dosing. I've tried it also with limited effect but I also did a blackout in congunction. If that does not work you really don't have any other options.

I removed my carbon + autotabs and reduced my start3 down to minimal dose over the 21 days + doing a three day light out at the end, the algae disappeared for a few days but then adding KZ back it come back even worse. I have had ULNs throughout so the algae isn't feeding on nutrients it's like it's being fuelled by the ulns/zeovit additives. I have increased my bio load in case that would help again no affect.

My lfs are adiment I should heavily increase amino dosing ( would that help and if so why ?)

Regarding the rock I seaded the rock before adding it to the tank so again no imbalance of nutrients, the only thing I can think about is if the realreef rock is creating silicates in the tank (fm results 1ppm) but I would expect to see diatom blooms instead of Dino.

Yes I think so - its been about a month but I remeber removing zeovit and turning lights down - do you need to turn off the skimmer ? As it maybe worth retrying that

If I try Dino x again do you recommend - skimmer off, zeo reactor off, auto tabs out as I'm guessing by doing that it's going to increase netiurnts ? Over the 21 days

Yes carbon was defiantly removed, throughout the 21 days of dosing. So basically I done everything correct based on your response.

Next question, did you happen to remove some of the dino and have it viewed under a microscope?

I have no idea what species it is ? I used the link attached to diagnose it as Dino http://www.zeovit.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20208 and its looks exactly like that.

Yours seems to grow on the sand bed my Dinos hardly ever did that. Are you still pulling out tones of it.

I ran the KZ sugestion of weekly ZB,CC,BM, F7 and Zym last week and followed up by lights off for three days, the Dino has died right back. I only switched the lights back on Saturday and signs are it's coming back already. The rock looks like it has spider webs all over it but quickly it starting to have bubbles showing already. I haven't needed to syphon the tank yet but I expect after a few days it will be back

The Dino is throughout the tank on all the rockwork and patches of sand - Sand was easiest to take a picture off.

Mine never went away over night. Keep doing the blackouts every few weeks. I did about four blackouts before mine subsided.
