Default Lighting for 75x55x55 cm tank

Hi

Im planning to build a 75x55x55 cm all sps tank.

I want to avoid disco effect and light spillage so thought about ati sunpower 8x24w.

Would that light be sufficient for even the most demanding sps? It really would neet to be perfect for the sps corals.

Any suggestions on better options?

Thanks
Marco

I'd say that it would be sufficient, absolutely.

T5's are tried and tested, and you should get spread out on the sides as well, but I would plan the scape to be primarily below the lamp and not out on the sides.

Hope you start a build thread!

It will definitely be sufficient.
Budget allowing, you could consider the powermodule version for even more efficient performance, however still you will be fine with sunpower.

I run the Powermodule LED Hybrid, and it's a very nice fixture. I only have the 4x24w + 75W LED though, as my tank is shallower thank yours. 75x50x35 cm. The 8x24 + 75W LED or 6X24w + 75w LED would be great for your tank

But the 8x24 T5 only sunpower or powermodule would be great for you as well!

You also have the option to do the 8x24w T5 and add a LED strip for some great results, a good choice of LED strip is the SBreef lights 50/50 bar. Some of the most awesome tanks I've seen are using that one + T5
