Default Question regarding media in reactor

It’s a rookie question but still I have a doubt
. I’m not very good at calculating.. can someone please help me ‏ calculate how much zeolite media do I need? My tank is running for up to a year now
And so far it’s doing OK R it’s pretty good growth in my opinion.
on the other hand is lacking The Color zeolite is known for
I think because I’m using only maxspect led’s I feel that if I were to add some t5 s I’d be somewhere else completely.
Back to the question at hand, I have a medium size reactor and I’m using a small tunze pump up to 2000 Lph set to 700 L per hour
question number one how much media should I put inside?
For the next time I swap out the media my (I have three ppm of nitrate that won’t go away) question number two do you guys put all of the media inside the reactor or put the smaller rocks in the mesh bag at top of the reactor?
Same question goes for carbon
my systems total water volume is around 630 L what would you recommend?
Thanks a lot!

Hello Zoonder, the net water volume does play a role for the calculation Is the water volume you have posted the gross or the net water volume ?

Also which kind of carbon do you use and what are the actual PO4 and NO3 levels ?

Try to answer you

The amount of zeolite used is 400 liters per liter
Using 1 liter of zeolite (ie 1 pack), the zeolite barrel flow is approximately 300 liters to 400 liters per hour to 1 liter of boiling

Activated carbon: 0.5-1 liter per 1000 liters. Replacement intervals are 30 days. Use a mesh bag to fly passively.

On the other hand, the lack of color zeolite is well known.
( Zeovit is a system that combines bacterial sources to help get rid of excess nutrients in the system., You need to run the system as close as possible to the natural seawater level. This means that the alkalinity is 6.5-7.5 dKh, calcium 410-430 mg, magnesium 1250-1300 mg, salinity 33-35 ppt and potassium (K+) 380-400 mg. )
