Default Dosator pomp?

Hello everyone,

I have completely switched to the zeovit system since 2 months. The result can already be there.

But I have a question, can you also add coral sytem 1 to 4 with the dosator pump in the sump or does it always have to be added manually in the tank?

gr. Roel

Hello Roel, you can dose those products with a dosing pump but you would need 4 different channels.

okay thanks. I have a 4 channel dosator. Can I also dose it in the sump? In the box of the delivery pump?

Another question. My PO4 and NO3 are all 2 now at 0. Is that good for the corals and the fish?

If everything else is fine this should not cause any issues. Which kind of test kit do you use for PO4 ?

It would also be good to have some more information about your system. Please copy and paste the questions from this thread and answer them:

Thank you for the additional details.

If nutrients are already not detectable with high sensitive test kits I would recommend to continue as follows:

Remove 1/3 of the PO4 absorber, than reduce the rest slowly step by step to zero over a 6 – 8 week period.

Run 0.75 liters ZeoVit with a constant water flow of ~ 300 liters per hour. Repalce the material every 6 – 8 weeks.

Dose 3 drops ZeoBac daily after each ZeoVit exchange for 10 days, otherwise dose 3 drops 2 x weekly, also 0.3 ml ZeoStart 2 x daily and 3 drops ZeoFood 2 x weekly.

If corals are growing well getting lighter tissue already you can additional dose CoralSystem but I would recommend to just use 1/3 of the recommended quantity 2 – 3 x weekly.

Run 0.3 liters Activated Carbon passively flown in the sump, replace it every 4 weeks.

Hi Alexander,

Sorry, I do not use a PO4 absorber. I entered incorrectly. The schedule shows my schedule as I am adding it now. Please give your opinion if this is so good.

Basically your dosing regimen is fine if corals tissue does not get to dark. I would recommend to split the ZeoStart dosage to 2 x daily (0.3 ml in the morning and 0.3 ml in the evening) if possible.
