Hi all, set up an sps tank to run Korallen Zucht. Tank was started 16 December 2018 and has been running amazingly since then. Coral colors and growth was exceptional. I will add the pictures soon.
This weekend I did my third zeo stone change on Saturday. Sunday night i added 3 drops Zeobak and 4 drops Zeo food plus.
This morning when I was about to leave I noticed the tank was very cloudy. When I got close to the tank I was beyond shocked to see all the sps white and dead. Everything else was in check, double checked all parameters and at this moment completely confused as to what has happened.
All snails and my urchin were dead, shrimp, hermits and fish (2 chromis and purple tang) were perfectly fine.

Any ideas on what has happened, anyone experience something like this?

It's hard to hear this message. The sps is heavily whitened (the coral is completely whitened, only the bones are left, there is no tissue). Usually most of the temperature rises, is the cooling system good? Or the temperature warmer is broken

Thanks Jacky, constant 25deg cel. Checked my profilux temp readings as well and between 24.9 to 25.4deg.

Then I don't know, usually "shock", as for what reason maybe others are better ideas. Then I don't know if there is a risk of "bacterial infection" in the current tank.

Does ZeoVit do anything?
Is the salinity normal?

It’s killing me not knowing, as you can see from the pics everything was growing well over the 3 months and then in one night all gone. My worry is that I don’t want to collect 60plus colonies (some very expensive) and then the same thing happens. I need to get water right with multiple water changes and then take it from there.

"Do the third zeo stone change on Saturday", change how much, quantity / brand / flow rate / and what / potassium value.

Improper use of ZeoVit, resulting in fast coral RTN due to rapid nutrient reduction

"This morning, when I was about to leave, I noticed that the tank was very turbid." Perhaps this is too much ZeoVit powder, or the death of the coral causes the water to look cloudy. ZeoVit material/quantity/method is too sharp and fierce in a short period of time, maybe

The following is from the basic information (FAQ), for your reference

Inorganic:
In general, overdosing inorganic substances can lead to severe problems due to toxicity. STN and RTN are 2 forms of tissue death we can experience.

Zeolites
Intended use: Polish water, remove toxins
Positive results: Clearer water, lower nutrients
OD Symptoms: Pale coral colors and reduced PE due to rapid nutrient reduction, RTN, coral death

Carbon
Intended use: Nitrate and phosphate removal
Positive results: Clearer water
OD Symptoms: Pale coral colors and reduced PE due to rapid nutrient reduction, burnt tips

Jacky thanks so much for your response, I decided to double check my flow and found that my flow was actually zero!!! The pump was off. Remove the pump and find the below. Well thankfully this had nothing to do with my dosing or the Zeo method.

At the arrow of the picture, the power cord rubber seems to fall off? You found this problem, which is quite dangerous.

First off all sorry to hear about the looses.

I do see two possibilities which has caused this problem:

1. Any kind of air pollution from painting etc.
2. While the corrupt cable electricity within the system, be very careful and do not try to repair the pump.

Thanks G.Alexander, I have a few spare pumps so I replaced this one with a sicce pump from my JNS Zeo reactor. Thinking about getting the fauna Marin auto Zeo reactor.
