After adding nutrients (after a week), make a PO4 measurement, 0.00ppm looks good

NO3 uses the Salifert measurement, the current test results, the water sample is completely transparent, then I left the sample to the next day, it turned out to be slightly reddish

Hello ohashimz, sorry I posted the picture here, I don’t know how to use some of the features of the forum. I hope you see this message.

Net bag, hanging

Special care must be taken to avoid some metal zippers or improper materials to ensure that the activated carbon is immersed in water.

Pull the bag every day or every few days. Clean it a few times and replace it in 30 days.

Hi,

Which checker you have? For low Po4 you need HI 736

Hanna po4 machine is a model of ppm, powder bag is Hi713

Is Hi736 not measuring ppb?

Is ppm or ppb not only a unit conversion?

Hi736 is for low measuring. 713 not.
Hi736 -> Value from Hi 736 is for example 7 -> 7 x 3,066 /1000 = ppm Po4

Ppm: parts per million, ppb: parts per billion

Thank you, I understand the meaning.

So do we really need a machine with ppb?

Jacky and others. I have a question.
I have been dealing with mud like substrate in the sump I think is coming from zeolites.
What's everyone experimce with thick mulm and the particles coming off the zeolites rocks to your sump?
It was not like that in the past but recently I feel the zeolites are releasing much more mulm..almost like mud...

The normal phenomenon, if it is bothering you, just siphon them.
