Hello Marc, the KH is indeed to high as Jacky said, have you already cross check the level with a different, accurate test kit ?

Next ZeoVit exchange should be after about 6 weeks, keep in mind to dose ZeoBac daily for 10 days after each exchange, otherwise 2 x weekly.

The reactor flow was much to low, this might be the reason for the elevated PO4 level As you have fixed that problem now I would expect the the level starts to drop slowly within the next couple of weeks.

1ml ZeoBac seems to be to much, 5 drops 2 – 3 x weekly is enough for your system size.

It might also be a good idea vacuum the sand while each water change to remove the sediments from the deeper sand layers, skimming more wet and cleaning the skimmer regular to export as much as possible can also be helpful.

Ok, I turned off my alk/cal dosing off, I did run the test 3 times, 2 times with my Hannah any one other time with my Red Sea. I only have been dosing ZeoBac with 5 drops 3 times a week. Every other water change I vacuum my sand bed so this next water change I will vacuum out again. I’ll just keep going with everything the way it is. Thanks for your help.

I need to clear something up with the activated carbon. On your first post you said to put in 0.5 Liters of new carbon every month. Is that 250 grams or half the bag? Because 1 liter is 1000 grams so half would be 500 grams. What one is it?

Thanks for clearing this up
Mark

Yes I know that my friend. My question is how many grams is 0.50 liters? Is it half the bag?
