Ok thanks. I will put it back on the three hour interval now rather than take a chance.

Week 4 completed. Changing out 90% of zeolite and in a couple days will swap the KZ carbon. All going well! Liking what I see!

Going to set up a 750L tank and do zeo from the start. Will do a separate thread on that one. Move the SPS to that and use the 525L for LPS and soft. Assume that LPS like Zeovit?

My approach is that when I encounter Zeovit material and Zeo activated carbon, I won't finish it together, I will be separated by a week.

Zeo Bac x10 days, 1 drop / 100L / 25 US gallons each time you encounter a ZeoVit material change

After the material is changed and after bac x10 days, that is, about 2 weeks, if the coral is healthy, you can switch to keep the reactor flow to the hourly flow rate suitable for the system demand.

With poor nutritional water quality, individual elements remain in the parameters recommended in the guidelines, including potassium.

It's hard to say what's going on in the future. Mobile coral does have another risk. Of course you have the ability to do it. LPS I understand it also applies to the ZeoVit system. It's great.

If you cycle your new system from the scratch I would recommend you to follow this step by step guide:

https://zeovit.com/forums/showpost.p...60&postcount=7

LPS corals are usually doing well in a nutrient poor system but they need longer to adopt in some cases. You can find some examples over here:

The pictures in the first thread per coral are all kept in zeovit systems, most of the others also:

So i am at about week 7 of the conversion. Did the zeolite change at week 4. Chamber is now running 24x7 at 480l/hr. Phos at .03 and nitrates .2 and very stable. Sps are encrusting and growing! Clams look great. Never ended up with that slime some people get on conversion. Manually removed a lot of the hair algae and it is not returning. I am starting a second build thread with a 750L system and it will be Zeovit from the start.

Also changed out the carbon at week 5.
