Hi Bob, being reading about this beautiful zeo thread, i think it is brilliant and its' a no U-Turn for me. Firstyl i have not really started (being very busy with my trainning/studies) but i think i have all what i need. Zeo-Reactor, bio mate, zeo start 3, sponge power, Phols' Extra, zeo stones, speed glue for rock work,Amino Acid Con. zeo food & zeobak(Planning to get CV).

The main purpose of this e-mail is to ask if i could use some of my old sand with the new one i have being socking over 3weeks now.

I planned to take them out of my current tank this saturday, soak them in RO DI water for another 3 to 4 days with water change every day, then eventually add them to the new system (together with the new sand/gravel by next thursday).

Thanks for your anticipated reply & help.

    Hi Bob,
I think we share the same skimmer, Revolution S deluxe and have a few questions if you don't mind.
Can't seem to skim wet and the water intake gate valve is almost shut close to raise water level to a max of +/- 3" below cup.
    Skimmer sit in 9" water.
Air intake did not come with a valve, instead some kind of filter tube, so there is no adjustment.
Since gate valve is almost closed, I feel not much water circulation in skimmer, and skimmer is not making much waste.
Also, I read that you clean skimmer once/week, how do you go about that, take the pump apart and perhaps soak injector in a vinegar bath?
Just hard to get direct answers out of KZ..

I appreciate your help in advance,

Ps. I can e-mail you a pic. if that helps.

    Hello Bob!
I have a question I think you may be able to answer for me. In the DTOTQ There is a chemical chain drawing. In that drawing there is an Me. Me is not on the periodic table of elements. It is on the table of Periodic Table of Visualization Methods (meeting trace) but that has nothing to do with anything here and was wonder if it is just a made up drawing to add some flash to the thread?

Hi, yes, you may shorten the zeolite interval to 4-5wks. for a couple of times which will help with your issues. Also use PCS or ZZ with your Bak dosage & see if this helps. Bob
