Default Pale tissue after dosing A balance

I've been battling some cyano for the past few months. It's slowly going away after a few weeks of cyanoclean, biomate, zeozym and cs but i decided to try A balance to finish it off. I dosed the initial dose after a water change and also changed my carbon which i was getting low on so i only used half my normal amount until i get some more. I noticed the next day that some of my corals are pretty pale. Two days later my acros are very very pale. Tissue is still intact and pe is ok but not great. Dkh 8.1, K 380. Added k strong to be safe. Reactor flow, lighting, and skimming haven't changed. Could A balance be the culprit? Cyano is still lingering. It's a mix of a green matting and red slimy cyano.

An idea, if you say yes, you can try to reduce the amount of carbon

What is carbon usage and carbon usage?
How much water has changed

The organization is still intact, pe can, but not very good, this may be caused by water changes (new and old water are not the same, such as temperature SG element, or quantity, or speed, etc.)

Cyanoclean, biomate, zeozym and cs are probably "water treatments".

Maybe the water is "clean" and can't suddenly accept environmental changes, light nutrients, etc.

If it is all corals, try checking the activated carbon zeolite flow, K+ level again, if you are willing to reduce the activated carbon, or reduce the zeolite flow.

If the NP level is good, try feeding a supplemental coral health situation such as Zeo AA,CV,Xtra,FIF

Have you use a different carbon brand for the replacement as you usually use ?

Please also post the net water volume of your system and how much A-Balance you have added to the system.

My net volume is 40 gallons (151.4 liters). The initial dose reads 50ml per 100 liters. I dosed 75ml. I did my normal procedure with every water change, checking salinity and new water temp before the change. My reactor is at the same rate. I even waited a few hours after the water change to add the A balance. Usually my pe is great at this time after a water change. I was using the same brand of carbon but only used half of the normal amount because i ran out. The corals look like they expelled their zooxanthellae rapidly almost like dosing zeospur. Does a balance contain a agent that would do this? I dosed AA and target fed my acros with some water that was used to soak my mysis. Hopefully tissue doesn't recede.

One thing that may be worth mentioning is my ORP dropped about 150 points rapidly after the dose. I don't usually pay attention to my ORP but it seemed a bit drastic.

A-Balance

Common and long-term usage with the ZEOvit System, and, Changeover of a stocked saltwater tank to the ZEOvit System
2ml / 100 L / week

……

Activated carbon

Passive flow, not in Active flow in a filter,Place in a filter mesh bag on top 0.5 L / 1000 L, exchange every month.

……

Zeo zeolite

The amount of zeolite used is 400 liters per liter
Using 1 liter of zeolite, the zeolite barrel flow is about 300 liters to 400 liters per hour to 1 liter of boiling
stone

Corals are already feeling the pressure, please also confirm the horizontal inline of water quality elements
And actually see the dosage/flow, and the recommended dose

What salt brand, what is the value of potassium

What is the PO4 value and whether it is decreasing rapidly

Can you give us more coral pictures of natural light?

Thank you, i have this information. I've had several zeovit system tanks in the past. The tank has been running since May of this year with bacterial dosing since the beginning. I use activated carbon and zeolites in slightly less than recommended quantities for my 40 gallon system. I also run the reactor slightly slower than recommended as well. I keep my carbon in a bag inside my zeoreactor so I shake it with zeolites twice daily. Skimmer is needlewheel but dry. I'm currently using aquaforest probiotic salt and do not regularly dose a carbon source as my NO3 is hardly detected with a salifert test. I do not have a test kit that will register PO4 at this time. My recent K was 380 which I dosed K strong to supplement. K is dosed daily with aquaforest component 3. I've read that some other users have had brown or pale corals after dosing a balance. I really just want to know if its normal. The pale corals actually look great but I'm concerned the tissue is too thin. I will post pictures with natural light as soon as i can.

Thank you, you have shown from your narrative that you are experienced, but the difference in the "recording value" cannot be correctly given. Maybe it’s the difference in this “reading value”
It can be a reorientation

Or maybe the coral is beautiful, not pressure or bad pale (hope to have pictures)

May also start with supplemental nutrition

Kz system, recommended element level Kh Ca Mg is how much do you know?

Be clear about the "value" of everything, so that you can identify the cause and eliminate the cause
Give more pictures to see the status of the coral, thank you

My experience is not good, coral pale is happening recently, you can probably find the reason from the above direction, and G. ask your question, dose

……

"Probiotic salt, and there is no regular supply of carbon source" This is one of the reasons, most people do not use probiotic salt, if I remember correctly

The coral do actually look better, just scary thin tissue. One frag which is newer to my system and still a bit dicolored immediately lightened to the brilliance i know it could be with amazing pe. The cyano is also almost completely gone. I blew the remaining pieces off my rocks today. I will upload pics when i get some sun.

I have personally not experience with A-Balance but have not hear something similar since the product is out. Not much you can do just keep everything as stabile as possible and keep the changes as low is you can until corals looking as usual again.
