I don't know the salinity for your choice, 1.024 is no problem, usually 1.023~1.025, fixed 10% water change every week, and the natural consumption of coral elements, I believe there is no problem.

I would first try to find the source for the elevated levels, do you dose those elements separate ? If not might the salt mix you use have elevated levels ?

Which kind of instrument do you use to check salinity and have you used another different one to cross check ?

I dose in the morning and t night, I split them up and never dose more than 2 elements at a time. I will check the salt this morning.
As for my refractometer, I feel if it tests correctly with the solution it should be correct, right? Could the solution be off? I will buy another and see if that changes anything.
Thanks

You may need to look at the technique to see which side is wrong. Usually the sea salt Ca will not be as high as 500, what is the level of fresh mixed salt Mg and Kh?

I don't know if this gap 2 drops affects the discrimination, the new version of Salifert Ca and the old version

We had a similar situation a while back in the German forum. The used reference for salinity had a issue even it seem to be OK. I would recommend to rule this out also.
