Do you still have issues with corals after removing the rusty stuff from your system ?

Water changes with 15 – 20 % within 10 days usually works well. This should also improve coral coloration if everything else is working well.

Do you have any kind of algae / cyano issues ?

No further problems will occur. Only the coral is bright.

Since the total volume is 300 liters, I will replace 60 liters over 10 days.

It is enough to wipe the tank once every 2-3 days and there are no algea related issues.

Additional to the water changes lets try to dose 3 ml XTra and 3 ml CB each 2 x weekly on alternate days.

Good morning. Alexander.
In Korea, the heat wave has passed and the cool early autumn has arrived. I think it's a good time for you to grow coral again. ^^

After dosing px, cb, a green algae occurs in the tank. For green color, iron is dosed, but brown algae does not occur. I think that there are a lot of carbon sources start 3 dosing.
I would like to reduce Start 3 dosing from 0.3ml to 0.15ml daily.

Please advise me.
Thank you.

Lets try to stop dosing iodine, iron, XTra, CoralBooster and AAHC temporary while removing the stuff with a brush. Please update in about 10 – 14 days.

The activity of the coral has fallen, but the color does not seem to change. The green algae of the rock no longer occurs. Potassium levels have dropped to 340 and have been maintained at 390.

It has been 9 months since I purchased zeobak, biomate. I wonder if I can continue using it.

Can you please post the actual PO4 and NO3 level and tell which test kits you use for them ? Do your corals are growing ?

As long as there are no slimy particles in the bottles those two should be fine. Store both in the fridge.

I was late to prepare a nitrate test device.
The measured values are shown below.

PO4 : 0.00 (Hanna)
NO3 : 0.00 (Redsea Nitrate Pro)

Salinity : 34.4ppt
Alkalinity : 132ppm
Temp : 26.5
K+ : 380ppm

All coral is growing fast.

[QUOTE=JUNJONG;333289]
All coral is growing fast and the polyp activity also improved.

There is something that is not reported to you. After the di regin replacement period, the tds value showed 40 ppm.
I seem to have tried a lot of new things in situations where I am not able to check correctly because I am busy.

1. Rusty iron pieces
2. Zeolite addition
3. Replenishment with high tds

So, I would like to proceed with 20 percent water exchange once more while maintaining your recommended dosing schedule. what do you think?

Since only basic dosing has been carried out, there has been severe mal-nutrition.

1. The algae has disappeared on the rock and it has dried well.
2. Some coral skin became rough.
3. Some corals are losing their lives.
4. PO4 (0), NO3 (0) is the second week.
5. Potassium levels are droping.

Please advise the dozing schedule.

Thanks
JJ

Please post your actual dosing regimen and check if the flow through your zeovit reactor is as recommended. Please also post a update of all water parameters.

Some pictures of the affected corals would be good also beside a full tank shot.

Please also post which kind of carbon you use and how much you have running and if it is active or passively flown.

A couple of days back you have observed improvements including good coral growth, is that still the case ?
