Default What camera & lense to buy?

Hey guys, I've been on the fence for some time.
Tried to get my system to work with some success.
I've learned a lot & did many changes.
Still having problems with colorations on some corals, PE &/or TN.
Some are thriving & some are dying.
Wanted to post pictures but my basic pocket canon is not getting it.
Any suggestions...?
Does any one have any experience & recommendations on what to buy?

It depends on budget really. Nikon/Canon DSLR with a standard macro lense. I have been a Nikon user for a very long time, and any of their DSLRs are excellent, but Canon are very good as well.

Thank you very much.
I have borrowed a few types of cameras from friend.
The problem with the pictures that I've tried to take was the light & I don't know what / how to adjust it.

Wow, nice pictures.
That was my plan to get the T3i with a macro (100).
Do you think that the T2 is enought?
Any suggestions on how to set the lights?
That is my biggest problem, as the light comes too bright & ruins the picture.

Do you have a Moorish Idol?
I was looking the this fish as well.

read about DSLR cameras and photgraphy ...
canon T3i and T2i have 2 differences, t3i has a flip out screen, T2i is faster and lighter.

they have same number of pixels.

yes those images were shot with a macro lens too, EF100mm f/2.8 Macro USM, plus some extension tubes.

I am not sure what you mean by set the light ... but DSLR cameras are different than point and shoot. you might want to pick up the book "understanding exposure" by bryan peterson, great book and will explain everything.

I shoot in RAW format, and then use canon program to correct the colors.

yes I have had my Idol for over a year ... not an easy fish to keep, and it eats corals.
