G.Alexander.....would a low salinity delay anything with the process of a cycle? It's day 15 so I'm not sure to lower my dosages yet or keep it as is, for another week. Please let me know. I also added 1 fighting conch, naso tang, cleaner shrimp and cleaner wrasse. Still no algae yet.

No the lower salinity has not a direct impact to the cycle, would recommend to continue dosing as planned:

ZeoBac 4 drops 3 x weekly
ZeoStart 0.4 ml 2 x daily
SpongePower 4 drops daily

After the first 4 weeks have passed replace 50% of the zeovit material. After the exchange dose ZeoBac daily for 10 days again.

Well naso died within 36 hours. I think it was from disease because the shrimp, cleaner wrasse, and conch are all doing great. Salinity is good, nitrate is low .02 phosphate is .02. I have no other idea why he would die

I reduced doseage as suggested on day 14. On day 19 now and I'm starting to see brown spots on my liverock. This picture might be hard to see, but it was completely white, and now has brown spots.
What can I expect from here, or how can I combat what's coming next?

Some kind of algae are normal for a cycle. Would recommend you to add some herbivore like snails to get rid of them.

Added turbos. They did help, but they cannot keep up. Hopefully this cycle is almost complete. Nitrate was 10ppm yesterday and phosphate was 008. Please advise.

Still looking for recommendations. Should I turn lights out for a few days, should I be doing something else? I'll get new parameters with test tomorrow and list them.

Just continue as planned, the algae are normal at this stage especially if dry rock is used.

Ok, I'm cutting off my Metal Halide time for now, at least to slow the algae growth. When will water change, zeolite exchange take place?

You can try that but I would not recommend to do as they are a normal part of the cycle. For the cycle it is the best to just give the system time without much impacts to the different phases. They will disappear over the time.

I would just blow them off from time to time, they should disappear soon.

Ok, so I replaced my filter sock yesterday. Woke up today with this. I wash with bleach only and an extra rince, then air dry. Still normal?

Also can I start dosing amino and potassium to help coral recovery and growth? What is the recommendation of these products.
