Default Zeovit and algae.

Good day all.
My current tank is a 125 gallon reef, using 65kg liverock, maxspect light, BM skimmer, and zeovit reactor. Ive added 1L of zeolites, feed 1,2ml zeostart daily, 6drops of zeobak and zeofood 2x week. I am struggling with a algea bloom for the past month. All parameters is normal so I dont understand whats causing the bloom. Tank is approximately 6 months old. Please help.

Algae will grow even with a zeovit system. I usually recommend vibrant but your all the way in china If you know anybody distributing it I would pick up a bottle. If not I would kick up your bac bio mate cyano clean regiment to every day. Clean the tank out. stop feeding as much. clean filter socks run a powerhead threw the rocks;;- clean the sand.
What worked for me was changing tanks and at the same time spraying the rocks down with 3% hydrogen peroxide outside of the tank for five minutes then shaking the rocks in a bucket of tank water and then placing back into the tank. Its a quick fix but you might need to also thin out fish and take some back to the store or give to friends. Hiw many fish do you have in there

I used to have 6 clowns and one yellow belly hippo tang, but I had a sudden temp drop unknowingly and I lost all the clowns, only left with the hippo. Should I dose more zeobac?

Thank you for the details Theo, another possibility is regular removing the algae with a brush plus adding one or two sea urchins (Tripneustes gratilla , Mespilia globulus) to get rid of them. To support this process dosing CoralSnow additional is something you can do also.

I appreciate the feedback. I’ve checked for vibrant here, can’t find it. Looks like a awesome product though.
