Just the first exchange was 50% as it was a complete fresh system. Next exchange should be done about 4 weeks after the first exchange, than and for all other changes replace 90% of the material. After each exchange dose ZeoBac for 10 days daily, otherwise as usual 2 x weekly. The exchange intervals for further exchanges (third one …) is 6 – 8 weeks depending to the nutrient situation.

Yes sir, the base/plugs is where they tend to hide. I always remove all base/plugs even if the sps is encrusting it. Yes you lose some of the coral but better then dealing with a pest.

Ok but what do you mount them on to ss they go on my sand bed for a week then move them up with no base I couldnt put them on my sand?

As long as you dip there is no need to remove the plug. removing the coral from the plug might just introduce unnecessary stress to the coral. If there is pest on the plug, chances are it's also on the coral. Hence, u need to always use s good coral dip...

I use revive when frag source is trusted. And bayer when the frag from a store.
Careful thu bayer is powerful so you need to learn how to use for dip before using it.
