Default New KZ reactor with base unglued on new arrival

Is the new KZ 4L reactor worth repairing? I can easily glue with acrylic solvent 16 but concerned the device is not worth cost over all and aquabee pump will be a pain to replace in future. It honestly looks like a 100 usd maxijet. I have it ready to be returned and I read other reviewed had the same issue.

I found a 3l Vertx Reactor used. Previous owner broke down a tank and said it is not jamming on pumping.

Is there a better option out there? A mesh bag in a tube will get the job done.

It is unfortunate to hear this news, there will generally be a “warranty” for new products. Temporary container should not be a problem. Clean it by hand every day if your coral is healthy.

I can repair if I can but plastic is so thin I am concerned I should just have gotten an Asian import model for 1/3rd the price.

You may have to discuss with the supplier. The exact reason for the breakdown is how to determine

One suggestion, because of the water pressure, first power off, then separate them in "sea water", and then start the removal operation. The same is true for skimmer. Avoid causing stress to concentrate at a certain point and cause damage. If this is the reason why you are broken, forgive me in English.

I would just go with PRS autozeo reactor. Better value and quality in my openion... been using mine for 2 years now and couldn't be happier

Default prs auto zeo reactor

They looked good.

I have a few questions though. Can the agitator pump get wet? My sump is deep and fills up if power goes off. I can raise though.

Also do you have a international sales contact for US?

Thanks

What I mean is: If you want to take it out, first stop it and then stop it. In the sump, separate A (body) and B (motor), and then take it out separately to avoid the water pressure causing the force point to be too large and break. Skimmer is the same. If the damage break is in the front of the water inlet

I am not a rep for PRS. Just a reefer. They shipped mine to use withen a week. They are very responsive if you email them. If you like I can share their contacts with them.
The reactor is rather tall. I doubt you will have a problem in the sump..
