Coral Booster Crystalized?
Hi, Everyone.
I just noticed that my Coral Booster is forming like crystals on the bottom of the bottle. Still safe to use? I dosed 3ml today and didn't see any adverse affects.
Let me know,
Joey

No I did not. Does it need to be? Currently I only store Bio Mate, CV, and Bac in the fridge. I store Phol's XTRA Special, CB, Start, Iron, Iodine, Potassium, Coral Snow, SPG and ZEOzym at room temperature.

No it should be stored at normal room temperature. I just know the crystals at the bottom if the product became to cold. I expect the product is still fine.
I move the thread to their sponsor form, alternatively you can try to send them a e-mail to info AT korallenzucht.de

It still can be used but the concentration of the element(s) which are crystalized is lower than.

Thanks. It’s only part of the bottom so 90% of the bottle is still normal. I’ll shake it good and continue to use it.

What I was talking about are really crystals, they are bigger and do not dissolve again. If it is just some kind of dust, I would not worry much about it.

These are bigger but only on the bottom. I'll try to snap a picture.

Strange. It never happened to me and I use CB for years now.
I think it might be cross contaminated.
I use separate pipette for every bottle.
You can get them in bulk very cheap on ebay.

I do use a separate one for each bottle. I use new ones one each. Should I toss this? It's still good right I'd only imagine some trace elements will lack.

I have one more idea.
Might it be salt from your aquarium?
If you put pipette into the water then to the bottle again, you can contaminate it with water from your tank?
If not, you can assume that this is precipitation after all.
Still unusual, I took a picture of my old CB bottle.
Expiry date 9/2017, but I still use it, I switched to nano tank and was unable to finish it before expiration date.
It was kept in the fridge for some time, then in warm spot near my house boiler, and there is no precipitation.
