Default Reefer’s Bio Reef Salt

Hello,

I sent you guys an email, but thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea if I asked here as well!

I saw that KZ has replaced RBS, with a new salt! Is it possible to get more information on what is different from KZ RBS and what’s the parameters?

Looking forward to your reply!

(If anyone has used it already, don’t hesitate to share your thoughts and experiences!)

Decided to kind of try to answer my own question in case anyone is looking for the same info:

After mixing a 150L batch, the parameters seems to be pretty spot on, with the exception of a little high Kh

The salt dissolves great, absolutely no residue.

Salt mixed at 25.8°C with 0 TDS RO water, parameters to follow:

Sg - 1.026 - Refractometer, calibrated
pH - 8.1
KH - 9.3 - Hanna
Ca - 400 - Salifert
Mg - 1300 - Salifert
K - 400 - Salifert + KZ
