I got 7200mls in 30 seconds so 864000. Does that mean 86.4 gallons/hr?

The output was 7.2 liters per 30 seconds ?

1000 ml = 1 liter

So it is 182 liters per hour, should be ~ 180 liters per hour (73 US gallons). Increasing the flow makes nutrient processing more effective.

Increased to about 81~gallons per hour. Is it possible to lower phosphates with zeovit without the presence of much excess nitrates as it is now?

Lets observe the PO4 level over the next 2 weeks, I would expect it does slowly decrease. Also keep a close eye on your corals after increasing the flow if you notice any negative changes.

Noticed a few acros STNing today, not sure when it started as I was busy but NO3 is still .25 and PO4 still rising. I'm going to guess it's because of the high po4 and run a GFO reactor again or dose lanthanum chloride slowly

Can you please tell the actual PO4 level and which kind of test kit you use ?

Also when have you started to use the PO4 absorber and the lanthanum ?

Quick decrease of PO4 can also cause issues like TN but I have to add that I have no experience with lanthanum.

I didn't start yet because you asked me to try the flowrate increaase first. I'm using the hanna phosphorous ULR and as of this morning it has hit "200" which means it's too high for it's range which is around 0.00 to like 0.60~ phosphate. I'll try decreasing it .1/day or less

A few things. So due to the size of my pump chamber I have the zeovit reactor in the skimmer chamber, is this a big enough issue to cause concern or will it work as long as the skimmer pump is upstream from the zeovit reactor? If it is a concern then is it enough to not cause the system to work?
2nd, is the mulm visible at this stage of the zeovit system? I'm not really seeing any buildup in the reactor nor when I pump the stones

The mulm released from the reactor while cleaning the material is a excellent additional food source for the corals. If the reactor and the skimmer is in the same sump camber the mulm might be skimmed out immediately. I would recommend to switch off the skimmer for a couple of minutes while cleaning the material but this should not really cause such a big impact.

Have you removed all the absorber at once you have used before starting with ZeoVit ?

I removed them because they were exhausted and stopped uptaking po4 anyway. Should I have still removed them slowly?

Also I understand what the mulm is, I just don't see much of it if at all in the reactor or when I pump the reactor. Is it highly visible or something not really noticable

As the PO4 level was high before you have started with the system I do expect it is a longer process until it starts to drop so you will need patience.

The ZeoVit system is a bacterial driven system which does need some time before it starts to work effective, so if you remove all the absorber at once while starting there is no “component” in the system which does process PO4 so it will increase. If you remove the absorber slowly step by step this does work much better.

As the absorber is out already I would not reintroduce it.
