Iodide complex
Intended use: Additives, auxiliary crusts
Positive results: Mortality at the crust ecdysis is low, PE
Symptoms of OD: If yellow coral has been established in the system, it turns green, SPS darkens, and cyano is increased. Potassium iodide fluoride
Intended use: enhanced blue
Positive result: Add several colors / PE
Symptoms of OD: darken, yellow corals turn green, and increase cyano if they are already established in the system. Potassium iodide solution is a chemical that stains starch in blue and proteins in yellow.

This is the valuable experience of Aged Salt. In [NSOvit] PIF vs. KI of ULNS, SPS will produce different color reactions. If one of the alternatives to the other pigment is used, another different coloring effect will occur. The PIF and Jod complexes are importantly different from KI because they provide corals with various forms of iodide and are important elements for coral assimilation of iodide. These additional elements are bromine, fluorine and potassium. Without these, the effect is more like a "dark" blue than brighter, more intense blues, purples, and reds and pinks.
